Rhett Dashwood is the Director of Wade Studios.
Wade is a visual research and development studio. Working independently and with a range of talented artists, designers, writers, and developers, the studio concentrates on communicative image making.
The works currently produced range from commercial to self initiated and cover mediums of (but not limited to) printed matter, interactive, and moving image.
Why Wade?
Wade (as a verb) is a reminder of how best to travel through the working environment.
In 2001 and the midst of the dot com boom era, the alter ego of Rhett Dashwood was born. It was when everyone and everything wanted to move so quickly. It wasn’t a leisurely pathway stroll, it was an information superhighway. Now in contrast, imagine wading in warm water on an island beach. To wade is a way to move towards your destination, achieve goals, while still fully absorbing your surroundings and enjoying the journey.
The above is the ideal.
The reality is that sometimes loads of crap gets dumped in your path and before you know it you’re waist deep in shite. You better start wading.
